eps plot into lyx

eps plot into lyx

I would like to insert a Figure Float and into that float, a Graphic that
is in eps format (for example). The issue is the sizing: I would like the
plot to fill the entire width of the page. Changing sizes (in Lyx) without
constraining proportions creates a pretty ugly image. What is the proper
way to do this? Should the graphic be sized at time of creation?
